What is the best way to remove an elderly woman's facial hair when there's too much for tweezing and not a big enough budget for laser?

I shaved my mom once a week or so with a disposable razor.

But if you're noticing the need now no doubt she has been battling this for years, if you know what she used then I would opt for that.

I'd go with a personal electric shaver. No to waxing as it could tear her skin and double no to chemical (Nair, etc.) solutions because they can burn. I still have a scar on my chin from a massive blister that I got from using Nair for facial hair. Shaving is really your best bet.

As said there are many products that remove hair. I used a NO NO on my Mom. Those hairs are usually course so need a good razor.

I gently touch up my mom's chin with disposable dermaplaning facial hair removers and a littl soap and water. You can get them on Amazon.

Are you talking wooly mammoth excessive? The hairvon my head is dark brown but blonde on my arms&face. I usually get the stylist to trim my nape, 'sideburns' and the facial hair on my neck&behind my ears. I love the Flawless trimmer, haven't tried the circular kind.

How about the same way men do? You can try an electric shaver. You can take her to a barber for an actual shave like men do when they go for a haircut. My husband's been doing this for years since he was a teenager with his father.

Why pay hundreds of dollars to a salon or aesthetician at a spa for what a barber can do just as well if not better and for way less money?

Of course, I would recommend that you consult with a dermatologist first. That appointment will be paid for by insurance.

Nair makes a product specifically for the face.

Also, waxing is an option but you shouldn't try this yourself since it requires the wax to be hot and could burn sensitive, thin elderly skin.
