Yes. It’s normal for her not to remember asking you already but I would listen to her saying she is in pain and respond (take action) appropriately.

It is normal, but as 97yearoldmom says, if she continually complains about pain, it needs to be attended to. You don’t need to rush her to the emergency room unless you feel it’s necessary. A doctor visit is “good enough”.
