We have Life Alert for my husband who is 76 and has a left prosthetic leg. If he is transported to the hospital then there is a charge otherwise Medicare should cover it. I hope this has helped with your question.
Indeed there is a charge. Insurance should pay for most of it, but you'll likely have to pay a bit for it. It's only fair, you've taken the time and services of EMS. Had to use them for my parents' falls to get them off the floor.
