Ugh! My mom will tell me one thing to do and when I do it she gets upset and wants me to leave things as they are!
Now that I am living with her I see days of confusion and days where she seems fine. Sometimes she is extremely critical of minor issues and other times she is flexible. How do I cope?
Probably the dementia talking. Guess you just have to do what's right for her and your brother and find a way to see the inconsistencies as part of the disease.
