Okay- sorry folks - this is my first post and I'm learning. Anyway... This morning I realized that adjusting my understanding and listening to what mom says in the sense of what it is like to experience her day/moments in her shoes, brings it all home. To me that emotional caring is really an important key to understand. And to know mom's reality is not my or my husband's reality. To not understand her reality leaves her in a lonely "place" by her self.
Just my thoughts -- looking for your thoughts, experience on the matter.
