Are there Kinship services for grandparents raising grandchildren?

None that I know of, but it's a valid and interesting question. Keep watching for people from other communities to chime in.

yes, I am a grandparent raising my grandchildren and the Montgomery County, MD has a "kinship navigator" program (which I just started participating in). If not for them, I wouldn't have known I could apply for cash assistance ONLY for my grandkids (BIG help), plus they've provided me with a lot of other resource connections. :)

In my in area in MA Old Colony Elder Services offer support for GP or family members over 55 who care for grandchild, along with support for caregivers of any age.
