Good luck to you. I thought about putting my mother in a home but i hear so many bad things about these places from people who actually work there. Mom's with me but it is true that it is very very hard and stressful. Her sons don't help, in fact, i ask for help once and now they ended all communications.

That is exactly the predicament im in! couldnt believe when i read this. I'd rather take on the duties (for as long as i can) than to put my mom in a home. They are overworked, underpaid, inpatient & some are not compassionate & others down right mean. My mom worked all of her life to support me i can only return the favor right now anyway. Sure, you can pull him out, move him to other facilities etc. you can probably sign up for a short stay. You want to move your parents in with you. Make sure you understand what you're getting into with careing at home. Depending on their health and needs this can be very difficult for most people.
