Our situation's different & I'm unsure how to answer many. All of the sites I've gotten on to find out if we can get help ask questions that I need clarification on because of our unusual situation with family land and finances. I live at my parents taking care of them and work a few hours 1 day a week at an office. I used to do pet/house sitting for much of my income but have had to put that for the most part on hold to help my parents, & now my finances are not enough to cover my basic needs, yet I am limited on how much time I can spend away from home. My parents are on a fixed income & cannot afford to pay me now due to increasing medical costs. I don't know how to answer questions on forms (for me or my parents) to get help & information. I need to know if there is one place that will help me with finding all the different agencies for our situation & answering the questions they ask. Trying to do it by myself is overwhelming.

It sounds as though you may need a lawyer to help out. Can you contact Legal Aid, or is there a law school in your vicinity that may have a clinic? Also, try the office of your local, State and Federal reps and senators. Very often, their offices provide various kinds of help for constituents.

I don't know how to understand let alone answer questions on forms. Trying to do it by myself is terrible. I call the organization providing the forms. Hours on hold waiting. The local area agency on aging has been negative help they give conflicting advice.
