When mother-in-law was living with her sister and when the sister passed I made a commitment to my husband to let my mother-in-law live with us for five years. It has been a struggle for the past two years to get my sister-in-laws to give us any kind of a break so I'm burnt out already. My question is how do I get my husband to abide by the agreement of five years without feeling like a bad person. I feel quilty wanting someone else to take over and I believe he will have a problem asking her to move.
