Considering switching my mom's secondary medical insurance. The insurance agent stated no additional premium cost at all. Right now, she is on Humana Choice PPO - my sister pays the premium cost. She has had Human Choice since 2014 with no problems as of today. Just wondering if any one has had any problems with it. I am new with all this especially dealing with Medicare and all the additional policies necessary. I would appreciate any comments.

Not familiar with this plan but sure its a Medicare Advantage which means Medicare contracts out to them. A doctor may take Medicare but with MA you have to stay within their network to get the advantages. My GF got a no premium insurance but had to pay copays. Make sure the doctors Mom uses except Aetna. In my area they didn't take Humana.

Another friend needed surgery the surgeon she chose excepted Medicare but her MA didn't. Your Office of Aging can help you choose.
