Do you know what agency in Alabama that would be qualified to contract, license, or certify an adult daycare? The adult daycare definition for the CACFP program are daycares that are operated by public, private nonprofit organizations and certain for-profit organizations that serve elderly persons 60 years of age or older or chronically impaired disabled persons, 18 years of age or older. The center must be non-residential and provide a community-based structured program, comprehensive and provide health and social support to enrolled participants. Centers that provide social services or rehab service only do not quality.
