The adult daycare definition for the CACFP program are daycares that are operated by public, private nonprofit organizations and certain for-profit organizations that serve elderly persons 60 years of age or older or chronically impaired disabled persons, 18 years of age or older. The center must be non-residential and provide a community-based structured program, comprehensive and provide health and social support to enrolled participants. Centers that provide social services or rehab service only do not quality.
