Best just to ask the VA about that facet of eligibility, as well as other requirements. Don't give up-I understand the application can be made without a lawyer.

These rules must be open for changes because what is war, if it is not an officially declared war, but the vet served in active duty in a war zone-or whatever....
Ah yes, pamstegma, I'd forgotten that that thing in Korea was a conflict, altho' how is the ordinary person supposed to know the difference between a war, a conflict, and hostilities? The lines are blurred, aren't they. The Korean conflict substituted for the war in Viet Nam in Mash, the TV series.
