Find Care & Housing
I wish I had an answer to your question. I am going thru the same thing with my 93 yr old mother. She lives with me and my husband and we have heard her stories hundreds of time. Sonetimes when she starts with a story we jump in and finish it. Sometimes we just let her go on. If we are watching tv, something always triggers her telling a story, we just tell her to wait for a commercial. By then she will have forgotten what she was saying. As I said, she lives with us, but sometimes when we go out, she will call me to ask where I am. Sometimes she will call me two or three times. All I can say is have patience. It's easier said then done, believe me I know. But its not their fault.
