How much can my fiance & I have in our checking account together when we get married?

My fiance & I are both on Medicaid. Please tell me how much can my fiance & I have in our checking account together when we get married? Also, we both need are cars--they are old but we need them to get to are appointments etc. Can we have 2 old cars?

Check with your county Medicaid office. Their representatives should be able to assist you.

You really need to talk to your Medicaid caseworker about this. The regulations vary from State to State and from program to program.
