I'm confused by your question: do YOU need to chat with "someone" online? Or do you want this for someone you are taking care of?
Regardless, the answer is NO because "online" is full full full of scammers and phishers. Elders are probably the #1 victims of financial abuse online. If you start chatting with total strangers online you are opening up a very ugly can of worms. I get scam calls, emails and texts literally every day. Scammers even show up on this forum and they get reported immediately.
Buy an iPad and load it with game apps. Watch interesting things on YouTube (get a premium subscription to eliminate ads).
Maybe you meant you need to talk to someone about ideas on how to keep someone else active and engaged? You do not have to be someone's entertainment committee.
If you can clarify what you meant, it would be helpful.
