Can I receive payment for caregiving for my mother?

I'm her primary caregiver. She lives with me. Need to know if there is monetary support?

Check with resources in your area.
Senior Services center may have programs.
Local Area Agency on Aging may also have programs.
If mom or her husband are/were Veterans she may qualify for Services. There is Aid and Attendance. Contact the VA or your local Veterans Assistance Commission.
If your mom has any income from pension or Social security she can pay you with that money.
And..
Do you have POA?
Do you have a "caregiver contract"? That may help later if there is a need to apply for Medicaid. If her assets are high begin the spend down by her paying for care as well as her share of all household expenses.
