Does anyone just feel despair because every day it's just like waiting for "the shoe to drop"?

The fall or the illness or death for your LO.

Living with constant level of fear or anxiety is not good for your well being.

What helps to calm you back into the normal zone?

Yes. My only questions are when will it happen, and will she live through the next one or not. It's absolutely exhausting.

When my father lived on his own it was always when would the next crisis be as he averaged one a week. And how would I be able to handle working it into my busy life? I always felt like I was on red alert.

I’m not waiting. Like all of us, I’m trying to prevent what I can prevent. The rest is up to luck.

My feeling isn’t despair - but a feeling of racing against problems. But unfortunately, new ones appear.

In this race, I’m neglecting myself. I’ll try to make a change. (If I disappear from the forum, it’s a great sign: no more Venting).

It’s time for me to change. Spring, rebirth, new hope.

Happy Easter, all!
