I need a good power strip that has a circuit breaker to keep her from being kicked off the retirement home Wi-Fi. Recommendations?

Does anyone know of a power strip that will prevent my mother’s computer from being kicked off when her residence has a power surge. It stops her connection to the internet and it’s difficult for her at 95 to sign back on. Even harder for me to do long distance!

Go to Amazon and do a search for : Battery Backup Surge protector- read the reviews - my hub is in computers and he has one on every computer in the house

Dunteachn, one would need to purchase an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). A UPS has a large battery that provides backup power to your computer when an outage occurs. Check with Best Buy to see what would work best for your Mom.

I know how it can be when the power goes out for a split second and everything on the screen disappears :P

I would ask someone at a Radio Shack or Best Buys. I would say a heavy duty one. Don't do cheap.

I would wonder why the Facility keeps having surges.
