My friend is retired and can’t work due to medical issues. Her husband just died and now has lost $350.00 a month in income. She is sitting in a very cold house because she can’t afford fuel oil. I am very worried for her.
Have her call the national energy assistance referral program 1-866-674-6327 they will help her find the local low income energy office in her areas that office is who she needs to contact for help. Or copy and paste this in to your web browser https://liheapch.acf.hhs.gov/help I believe there is a link on that page to search for programs by state so maybe you can find that info for her.
