Click on the Avatar. A drop down menu will appear. Select Settings. It's the second to last item on that list. After you click, it will take you to another page. Under the thick blue bar near the top, you'll see the same options from the previous drop down menu, but this time horizontally. Under those options, you will see in smaller letter more options: My Topics, Caring For, About Me, Subscriptions, My Account, and Privacy. You can click on any of those selection and edit/add the info.

You can "Pin it" to your "Favorites, or "Bookmark it" so AC will show up on your computer home page. Then click on that.
I "Pinned" my "News Feed" as my favorite, then click on that to get direct to my news feed.
You want to "LOG OUT" each time. Click on your avatar until the drop down menu has a LOG OUT choice.
When you come back, you will need to LOG IN with your screen name and password. This can be "saved" or "remembered" so you won't have to re-enter it each time.
You can read the website without logging in, however, to read your messages, or to send a message, you need to be LOGGED IN.

Have you found it,Katie? There is not an edit button on the "about me" page. You just backspace through what you don't want there, type what you want, and then the "save" button is at the bottom of the entry box.

"Caring for" or "About me" can be found in light gray just below the blue-green bar, in faded smaller font.

I think you can click on your own avatar as seen elsewhere, as in your post just now.

i followed your directions, but no where is there an "edit" option. Just "see more...". Or "see less...".
So once i am into the "about me" how do I get the option to Edit?
