My mother is not eligible for Medicare. We are not making it financially due to the fact I must stay home with her. Are there any programs that might help?
Contact the county office of aging to determine what type of help is available. That is a great first step. I'm not sure if you are in NYC or the state but I know the city has MANY programs offering assistance.
We live in New York, They are quick to say she makes too much in social security. She helps us out but we mat loose our home and I would rather her not be put into a home
