Mom is terminally ill and needs hospice in patient care. What is the process with Medicare?

Mom was diagnosis with primary CNS lymphoma. Dad is concerned he will lose everything financially.

Do not worry about Dad loosing everything. Medicare pays for hospice so there should be no financial burden. Mom is terminal so probably won't be in care for more than afew weeks at the longest. If by chance she should need Medicaid. Dad would be considered the community spouse and allowed to keep his house ,one car, furniture and personal belongings so there would be no hardship there.
I do not know the rules for hospice, Medicare and Medicaid in Florida but if there are co pays for hospice they are usually income related. Dad may have to pay for drugs the same as with Medicare at home. if they are disease related hospice will pay for any medications but only related to the admission diagnosis. If for example she has insulin related diabetes that would not be covered
