In NJ ALs must have an RN available and on call. Some need an LPN too.

Thank you. I may be looking for assisted living. I heard that some places will have a wait list.

In most states only RNs and certain LPNs are licenced to dispense meds. I had to hire this service for independent living. In my state there are restrictions. When it came time for assisted living it took a while to find a place that had a nurse.
