My 89-year-old mother has sun down every night at 10:00pm. What can I do?

Starts crying yelling. Up every few hrs. Too cold turns on heat. Too hot turns on air. Sometimes both at same time using heater. Don't know what to do.

Loupatdan, if this is part of dementia, have your Mom's doctor recommend something to calm Mom down.

Another idea, have Mom checked for an Urinary Tract Infection, as that can cause emotional issues and can mimic dementia.
