My brother and I have been providing 24/7 care for our elderly parents for last 4 months.

We physically and mentally cannot continue. Our father has inoperable colorectal cancer . He used to empty his Ileostomy and nephrostomy bags and now refuses to do anything on his own. Our mother suffers from dementia and cannot be left alone. They refuse any outside help and we cannot keep doing this. We have a medical poa for my dad but no financial poa and nothing for mother. Since they aren't listening to our concerns what do we do. We are both ready to walk away.

See an attorney. POA's have legally binding responsibilities. Protect yourself by doing the legal footwork to have them either placed in a facility or have in home help other than yourself.
