Can I continue to pay veterans aid and assistance to my caretaker if I go to a nursing home?

My husband past away and I am getting veterans spousal pay and I need that caretaker to continue in the nursing home.

No, once you go into a nursing home, on Medicaid, the VA cuts your benefits to around $90 per month, which all goes to the nursing home along with your SS check.
