Sure she can if she pays for it out of pocket. Is your question can she get caregiver assistance for free? Not sure if the VA pays for that but Medicare won't pay for private caregivers. They will pay for home health skilled care for a certain period of time usually consistent with her diagnosis and need, but not 24/7 care from an aide or CNA. You can call her insurance company's customer service and ask then as well.
