Can you help me find a support group. I live with an MS sufferer?
I am having a lot of trouble dealing with the cognitive issues involved. My friend,s thinking has become more and more linear and she tends to just dismiss important issues or ignore them.
I have found a really great support group on facebook for my fathers dementia and my autism. I have a mother with MS but I have not needed to join one for her,but they do have them. I know the groups I belong to have been lifesavers. They are closed groups so comments and posts don't show on my regular feed.
Check the MS website, there are many support topics and a support group finder. There is one on Carmel ave and another on Cooper ave. There are online groups specific to this diseaase.
Also, you might elaborate on your inquiry. I'm not sure what is the actual challenge you are facing. How old is the MS sufferer? Is this a new symptom? Do you accompany the person to their medical visits? Have you brought up this observation?
