Where can I find info on the senior aging process to share with family members?

Recently used Dekalb County Hospice and there was a brochure on the gradual aging process. Is this brochure on line that I could download a copy?

One of the best books is one I recently checked out from the library published from Johns Hopkins I titled "the 36 hour day" -- excellent reading, resource and provides universal examples of behavior patterns, resistance and wonderful suggestions for coping, and adjusting to the disease and adaptability suggestions. Another was "bitter season" by Jane Gross.

There is a lot of free information you can download or order in print for free from the federal government. Try Nia.nih.gov. This is national institute of aging, part of the national institute of health. There is information on a lot of types of health issues and aging.

i read extensively, its my hobby, and ive found that the best aging / senior care / end of life literature can be found on sites originating in the uk. most american sites invariably are trying to subliminally sell you something. yes, for profit, they will pee on your back and try to tell you its raining. its deplorable and speaks volumes about how sick our heathcare system is.. ( or at least was )

There are at least 7 different Hospice Agencies in DeKalb County. The links on the county website are inoperative. Try ghpco.org. That's the site for Georgia Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
