60 minutes frequently does stories on Alzheimer's, I remember seeing one where they talked about music and its affects on those with the disease. Tonight Tony Bennett with Lady Gaga. What a wonderful show it was and once again stressed the importance of music on the brain, especially those with dementia.

Yes, I have seen the Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga story, (the last time someone mentioned it-thinking it was maybe you, Glad, or Garden Artist).

I really appreciate these suggestions when you come across things of interest to all of us, most of us, any of us, or even a few of us, here on the forum.
Thanks!

Alive Inside is a good one and has been discussed when it first came out. There are many others that can be found by googling music and dementia.

How wonderful how Lady Gaga asked him for the privilege to escort him from the stage at the end of the show.😊😊

Watch the YouTube video called Alive Inside. It illustrates the effect of music on AD patients.

I just looked the show up. What a wonderful man he is performing for so long. I'm sorry he has Alz. He still looks great for his age. I have seen shows demonstrating the positive effect music has on Alz sufferers.

I watch it regularly. Just haven't watched it yet because it is on DVR for me to watch tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up!
