Liver disease, cirrhosis, non alcoholic.

nightmare! My husband was weak, losing muscle, fluid ascites peritoneal cavity, scrotum, and feet, diabetes, hepatic encephalopathy, throughout 2015 I had to call 911 for help lifting from his falling, they would take his to ER stabilize his sodium, ammonia levels, Hepatologists told us his he was sicker than his " meld" score. therefore he could be listed for liver transplant, however be would not live through this procedure. in other words why waste a precious liver on someone who they feel would not live to enjoy this liver. Thank goodness for Hospice, he is now resting in comfort.
