My mother seems open to wearing (and/or having my father wear) one of the medical alert devices. But I've found it frustrating doing the research on them. I've read a lot of reviews but they are pretty inconsistent. Looking for comments from those who have used or currently are.

I used Medical Guardian. Very pleased. She just would not wear the pendant. No long term contracts. Lock box on door for EMS. 911 certified help.
I recommend.

I used Phillips. There is an option, motion detector, where if they fall and can't respond the operator is alerted and if they get no response, calls you or the ambulance. However you have it set up. This is a little more expensive but worth it.
