My brother had over 500.00 in his patient account when he came to this nursing home. Now they are telling me he only has 60.00.

Is the state your brothers gaurdian? Is brother of sound mind? Are you POA.

I was POA and I had to sign off on everything that was deducted from my Moms PNA. If brother is on Medicaid, he has a caseworker. Medicaid oversees Personal Needs Accts. Call the caseworker and see if this is legal. PNA is your brothers money, not the NHs.

If you are POA, ask for a statement which as POA you should be getting regularly anyway.
