I need a spinal cord stimulator put in.Have stenosis at T10-11. Should I ask doctor to go from T9 down which is harder to get wires in?

This is definitely a question for your doctor, but I will say that my 21 yr. old granddaughter also has CRPS, and had looked into having a spinal cord stimulator put in, but after doing the test run(which they always do first)with the stimulator she found that she didn't get any relief, so didn't proceed in getting it placed.

Just another vote to see a different doctor for a second opinion, preferably one in an entire different network. Nowadays you can get lots of good and recent recommendations on Nextdoor.com or by using an info aggregator like ChatGPT. I wish you success in ending your chronic back pain!

Sounds like it would be best to get a second opinion from a specialist who has examined you in person, knows your medical history, etc.
