94-year-old mother was cooking, doing laundry and walking around. Then got Covid, can you come back?
She was doing everything last week, then got hospital delirium because of high fever and sleeping 3 days. Now is in rehab, but still out of it. Answers some hard questions, but then talks weird stuff.
Is your Mom getting enough fluids and nutrition in the rehab facility? They aren't the same as a nursing home, I wouldn't assume they are feeding her or keeping track of how much or what she drinks. Being dehydrated can cause dementia-like symptoms, and so can a UTI, or other infection. She needs to be thoroughly tested for these.
