They usually are limited and must be pre approved as they are consider "treatments" and many treatments are no longer given in Hospice where it is only palliative and comfort care. Some treatments for PT are allowed to maintain some mobility for transfer to commode chairs or tranfer to chair for sitting up or to prevent contractures of muscles, which can add to pain.
