Do siblings have a right to keep you from your mom? What can I do?

Siblings are telling lies to keep me from seeing or talking to my mom. And telling the caregiver to not let me speak to her.

Unless your mother suffers from advanced dementia, why can't she pick up the phone and speak to you herself when she wants to? Get the truth from YOU, her daughter? What you can 'do' is go over to mom's house and talk to her yourself!

I'm sorry for your familial distress, but you don't give us much to go on.

Where is your mom: at home or in a facility? Does she have cognitive/memory impairment and/or other health issues? Is anyone her PoA? What state are you in (because the laws can vary)?

What is the reason they give for blocking you? We can't help you much if you don't give us an honest answer (because there's always 2 sides to every story and many participants on this site have been the ones to do the blocking -- in order to rightfully protect their parent).
