Are you looking for a HUDD voucher to help with rent? I think June or July is sign up months for that. Call your Dept of Housing.
There are different types of Senior housing. Low income, some are 55 and up, others you need to 62 or 65. There are HUDD subsidized Senior apts that charge rent on scale. For all you need to personally go to the complex and apply. There is probably a waiting list so the sooner the better. Make an appt with your County Office of Aging and see if they can help.
