If a sibling who is not blood related abandons their role to my mother?

When non-blood related person is power of attorney and abandons there role in her medical needs, what do we do?

If you live in the U.S. being "blood-related" or not makes no difference as to who is a legal caregiver. If you believe your mother is being neglected by her legally designated PoA, you should report this to APS. If you want to take over all her care you can pursue guardianship through the courts.
