When do you tell someone you are dating that you are a care taker?

It feels selfish that this is my first questions, but I can’t find any good answers. I want to be fair to someone I date but it’s complicated and I don’t think it’s the first thing they should know about me.

Are you uncomfortable or ashamed to be a caregiver? Why? Do you feel that he wouldn’t approve of this?

Can you explain a bit further please?

What difference should it make to him if you are a caregiver? Is this about you being insecure or him being judgmental?

I think you'd tell them when the topic of what you do for a living comes up. If they have qualms about it better to know that right off the bat don't you think?

Right away. It will become obvious in a short period of time. If the person backs away, that is not the kind of person you need. Do not ever start a relationship on false pretenses.
