Who do I turn to in regard to severe abuse impressed upon my 74 y/o at-risk Grandmother by the DA in La Plata County, Durango, CO?

My Grandmother has been severely abused by her youngest daughter in Durango, CO. Extortion of my Grandmother's inheritance from her Father.

Upon coming to terms with this we have since filed numerous reports to the authorities, sworn under oath to serve and protect my Grandmother!

She's been shaken violently by her youngest daughter in her wheelchair, spit profusely in the face whilst being cursed at on a manner suited for no one that is human. While cursing, every other word being F*c* numerous variations. My Grandmother had been hospitalized numerous times so to this abuse no definitive records of this being the cause, only my Grandmother's word.

We submitted evidence to the officer taking the report. He responded back after, said that it was all submitted to the DA, reviewed and we were told there were no grounds to press charges.

In response to them we checked back 3 months later only to have the receptionist state, being recorded by us, that the evidence was never submitted!

Evidence included were recorded conversations of all three assailants involved with the extortion and much more!

Who do we turn to next for pro bono representation for this case?

Thank you,

Barbara, Michael & Debbie
