My mom has Parkinson’s, dementia and is diabetic. Hospice suggested we stop Aricept. Lots of problems now! Help

If she's not resting, is restless, agitated, etc. ask for other options. Is it mandatory that she not take the Aricept? My LO is on a daily med for anxiety and depression that helps her stay content. She's on Hospice too.

We started the aricept back tonight. Hope it will help. What medication for depression is your LO on?

She has always been very sweet and pleasant and talked very little and slept all night. After stopping the aricept she began to talk more, standing up to walk (but she can’t) climbing out of bed and babbling for 3 hours in the bed before going to sleep. Agitated, nervous and somewhat defiant saying no! We tried Ativan and she was even worse. I can’t help but believe that the aricept helped her sleep and remain calm.

What kind of problems? Aricept is to help with cognitive ability. Maybe good in the early stages but I don't think it really helps in later stages.
