Divorce and Alzheimer’s...

Anyone else have an Alzheimer’s father that is being divorced and abandoned by a stepmom after 43 years of marriage?

I don't think you can divorce a Dementia/ALZ patient. They can't sign the paperwork. I agree consult with a lawyer versed in Medicare. At this point, Dad should get half of everything. He should keep his SS and his pension. She is divorcing him.

You can divorce an Alzheimer’s/dementia patience but it requires a lawyer.

If not, get dad a lawyer. Wife could be trying to protect assets.
