When I hear someone is transitioning I first think that they are dying. Transitioning means when a person goes from one state to another. From life to death in this example. The context it’s used in is important to know in order to understand what is being referred to. One can transition from one thing to another. Hair color or style, gender, diet. Anything that is gradual I suppose that goes from one “state” to another. We here on Agingcare.com have recently transitioned from one website to another as another example.
