Any experience with Medicare and hospice for parent with dementia?

I have friends and relatives who have asked for hospice care for their parents with dementia and who are cared for at home. I would like to hear from others who have done this and what was/is your experience. I would like to request PT for my parent and help with her bathing, etc.
