Parent is Medicaid pending in nursing home in CO. Upon admission to the facility a form was signed stating no other financing was available (private pay) What if Medicaid is denied?
Hi Jann, I'm sure you have a lot on your mind right now. The emotional rollercoaster of watch a parent decline is heart wrenching.
Please don't worry about things that haven't happened. Give your mind and soul a rest. I know you need to plan, however, don't stress over the "what ifs". Stay in the day and "Know" it will all work out. If there's no other funds, then there's no other funds. Watch a comedy, or talk a nice long bubble bath. 😊
But if it is, find out what is the reason. I would recommend you talk to an "Elder Law Attorney" as they know how to navigate the maze called Medicaid.
