I work in a nursing home, and see residents not being fed, not being changed, basically ignored. The DON won't do anything! What can I do?

We are very short staffed. For those of us that come to work and do our jobs, we are very frustrated. We need our jobs and don't want to get fired. But it's not fair to the residents and for those who do their jobs!!
