Mom seems to have to go the restroom often. Any ideas?

When we are home it’s every hour sometimes more but when we leave the house she doesn’t need to.

If it continues, have her checked for a bladder infection. That's one of the symptoms (frequency).

Jules, sounds like your Mom is hydrated, which is great, be glad.... too many elder don't drink enough water and become dehydrated, which can cause numerous medical issues.
