My brother is overly critical of my Mom and judgemental. What should I do?
He does not seem to say very many nice things to her. I feel upset at him for the way he talks to her and tell him he is not being nice. He then gets defensive and cuts me out of any relationship. What should I do?
Sorry to hear about how your brother talks to your mother. I wonder if something happened between them and its causing resentment on his part and this is why he is talking badly to her. I know we cannot change our siblings but only how we react to them.
How does your mom feel? Is she okay with the way he talks?
I know we all want better relationships with our siblings and family in general. I am struggling with this myself during the holiday season. Maybe talk to a family therapist or counsellor and see what can be done.
